The abducted son of the Chief Justice was brought back to Karachi under tight security and taken to his residence to reunited with his parents in the morning.

The son of the Chief Justice SHC was recovered by security forces in an intelligence based operation. Three terrorists were also confirmed to to be killed in the exchange of fire.
It should be noted that terrorists had kidnapped Owais Shah on June 20, 2016 from Clifton area in Karachi. Law-enforcement agencies were on the lookout ever since to little effect, until his recovery after one month.
Sources said that the militants, who were taking Shah to Afghanistan, opened fire at the security forces when they were signaled to stop at a check post. An exchange of fire took place between the two sides after which three terrorists were killed.
Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif congratulated Sajjad Ali Shah on the recovery of his son. He also congratulated the security forces for carrying out a successful operation.
Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPRR) Lieutenant General Asim Bajwa in a tweet stated that Owais Shah was recovered through an intelligence based operation near Tank.

Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad telephoned the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court and felicitated him on his son’s recovery. He said that the terrorists failed to cross the border due to high security.
