ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday chaired a high-level meeting and approved a plan of action for Pak-Turkey Strategic Economic Framework, ARY News reported.
The plan of action will now be presented to Turkey for final approval.
Secretary Economic Affairs Division, during his presentation, briefed the PM Khan that the plan to forge greater bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey under the proposed SEF includes cooperation in agriculture, low-costing housing, tourism, energy and power and other sectors.

The prime minister expressed satisfaction on the progress of Pakistan-Turkey Strategic Economic Framework.
He also praised the efforts of finance minister and secretary industries in the preparing the action plan to proceed with the proposal.
On Sunday, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser had said that the eternal bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Turkey transcended the boundaries of time and geography as these were deeply etched into the hearts and minds of the people of the two countries.
Asad Qaiser made these remarks during a meeting with his Turkish Counterpart Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sentop. The speakers held meeting on the sideline of 140th General Assembly of the Inter Parliamentary Union in Doha.
Earlier, Turkey on February 27 had categorically announced to stand by Pakistan and its people in the pace of Indian aggression.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavusoglu had expressed these sentiments during his telephonic conversation with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
