The incident took place in Hamza Town where motorcyclist named Ameer was trying to come out of the rainwater when the wire snapped and electrocuted him. Another man who was assisting him pull the motorcycle out of the rainwater managed to escape the incident.
Another women named Kanwal was crossing the road when another side of the wire snapped and electrocuted her as well.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and ordered an immediate inquiry and vowed to arrest those responsible for the negligence.
