Talking to media here, the minister said the summary by the Sindh government is being reviewed by legal experts and the nation will be apprised of any decision made in this regard.
He, however, assured that whatever decision will be made on Rangers powers, it will be in accordance with the constitution and the law.
“There was and still there is a need of operation in Karachi, while all the stake-holders have agreed upon initiating it,” Rasheed noted.
Reiterating the federal government’s resolve to make Karachi a peaceful city, he said it is the responsibility of the Centre and Sindh government to consolidate the gains made Rangers in the megapolis.
