Rajnikanth starrer earns record grossing before release

According to an Indian website, the film’s revenues came from distribution and satellite rights. A distributor bought the rights of the film at a “record price”.

Many distributors were trying hard to purchase the film’s rights thanks to Rajnikanth’s style and popularity in the film industry.

Sony Music purchased the music rights of the South Indian superstar’s upcoming flick for a whooping price. The cost have not been disclosed as yet.

Rajnikanth plays the role of an aged criminal don in Kabali, which is expected to release in 5000 cinemas across the world on June 1, 2017.
