KARACHI: The three-day annual Urs of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi began in Karachi on Tuesday.
Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah inaugurated the Urs ceremonies and laid a floral wreath on the shrine.
Speaking on the occasion, he said Sindh is a land of Sufis who preached peace, love and brotherhood.
Strict security measures have been taken to ensure safety of the devotees and avoid any untoward incident.
A large number of the saint’s devotees have also arrived at his shrine to partake in the annual three-day Urs celebrations.
