Last month, the international security consultants had expressed satisfaction over security plan mapped out for the PSL final in the metropolis, following a full-dress security rehearsal of the match.
England’s security expert Reg Dickason observed that the security arrangements were satisfactory to hold the league’s final in the city.
Before his presser, a full-dress security rehearsal of the PSL third edition final was held amid stringent security measures. On the occasion, the law enforcement agencies including Sindh Police, Pakistan Rangers, Airport Security Force (ASF) alongside other security agencies presented a demonstration of foolproof security arrangements for the league’s final.
All main arteries and routes leading to National Cricket Stadium were closed for traffic when the rehearsal began. A large number of security personnel were also deployed around the stadium.
