Federal govt transfers four top bureaucrats

ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Monday transferred four high level, 22-grade officers.

According to details, the establishment division of cabinet secretariat issued the notification of transferring four bureaucrats from the top brass of Pakistan Administrative Service .

As per the notification, Rabiya Javeri Agha, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was recently posted as Secretary Human Rights Division has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Climate Change Division.

Sqn. Ldr. (R) Shahrukh Nusrat a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, who was serving as Secretary Textile Industry Division has now been directed to report to Establishment Division.

Maroof Afzal a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service posted as Secretary Industries and Production Division has also been transferred to Establishment Division.

Mumtaz Ali Shah a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service posted at Maritime Affairs Division as Secretary is also transferred to Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Division as Secretary.

On September 1, the PTI government transferred nine best officers of bureaucracy to Balochistan, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhary said.

“It was the first time that nine best officers of bureaucracy were transferred to Balochistan,” the spokesperson told.

“The transfer of best officers to the backward province will help achieve the targets of good governance,” he said in a statement.

He said bureaucrats were being appointed and transferred as per the rules and regulations.

The minister said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was committed to follow rules and regulations for implementation of policies.
