LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday reviewed the progress on development projects and public welfare schemes in detail.
Chairing a high-level meeting at his office, CM Usman Buzdar said that timely completion of development projects will help the general public and added that a regular monitoring system has been devised for public welfare schemes.
According to a statement released from his office, the chief minister said that he will personally monitor the progress made on development schemes.
He maintained that comprehensive strategy has been devised to develop far-flung and underprivileged areas of the province. The CM said that the underprovided areas will also be made developed and prosperous as the new schemes will help improve the standard of life of common man.
Chairman P&D, Secretaries of Finance, Communication &Works, P&D departments and other high officials were present in the meeting.

It is pertinent to mention here that Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar, on December 3 had claimed that his team will set new records of public welfare by working day and night and added that the targets set by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be achieved at all cost.
Talking to different delegations at his office, CM Usman Buzdar had said that they came into power to serve the masses and vowed to fulfill all the promises. He said that the Punjab government is working in the right direction and added that livestock sector will be transformed according to the vision of PM Imran Khan.
