Alia Bhatt’s latest movie Kalank barely managed to recover its budget with hiccups as the film was a pathetic failure at the box office.
But Alia Bhatt had a positive message for the audiences as she spoke at the Critics Choice Film Awards.
Bhatt said that in the entertainment industry, everybody tried to put their best foot forward and try to do what they aspired to do. “It’s not like the sun shines every day; it rains sometimes, and it doesn’t. It’s all a learning for everybody”, she said.
She said that she wouldn’t analyse her film because the audience verdict had already done it for her. “When the audience doesn’t accept a film, then it shouldn’t do well; that’s just the way it is”, she said.

“We should accept it, come back, try, and make sure they’re not disappointed next time”, she added.
She was also asked a question about Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel’s criticism of her and her family on Twitter.
To this, Bhatt said that she just wanted to be happy, positive, work hard, be a better of version of herself every day, adding that she shouldn’t pay attention to what people are saying.
“I will remain quiet and this is my stand”, she added.
Made with a budget of INR 800 million, the period movie ‘Kalank’ directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar has managed to make 113 crores so far.
