LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Sunday said the provision of basic facilities to the masses is the utmost priority of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.
Talking to journalists, CM Buzdar said upholding the rule of law in the country and across the board accountability are the missions of his government. He said the government will leave no stone unturned to ensure a better future of the nation.
The chief minister said that the government has taken remarkable steps for public welfare in a short span of time. Usman Buzdar said the government is about to fulfill its 100-day agenda successfully. He said the masses will experience a positive change after implementation of the plan.
PTI govt’s first budget to provide relief to people of Punjab: Buzdar
Earlier in the day, Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar said that people would be given relief as per available resources and the first budget of the provincial government.
Presiding over a high-level meeting at his office, the CM took a detailed review of the provincial budget of the remaining eight months and annual development programme of the current fiscal year.
Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said that it is imperative to increase the provincial resources for providing various facilities to the masses as this would enhance investment and the problems of the people could also be decreased this way.
