Rumours that ‘Quantico’ star Priyanka Chopra and her husband American singer Nick Jonas are heading for a divorce just months after their fairy tale marriage are doing rounds on social media.

The rumours started after OK magazine reported that the couple’s marriage is “hanging by a thread” and they are about to part ways.

“They’ve been fighting about everything – work, partying, spending time together. The bottom line is that Nick and Priyanka rushed into things… and now they’re paying the price. Their marriage is hanging by a thread,” an alleged insider has told OK!

The alleged insider has further said, “Jonas believed the actress was cool and easygoing when they got married but recently Nick’s seen a controlling side to her. She also has a temper – that’s something Nick wasn’t aware of until after the wedding celebrations.”

The tipster also claimed that that their divorce would lead to a major money battle.

The story, however, is untrue as Gossip Cop reached out to Chopra’s rep, who confirmed that the tabloid’s story is nonsense.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas married on December 1, at the famed Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India.

The wedding marked the tail end of a whirlwind courtship and engagement, with the couple marrying just four months after Jonas reportedly proposed the ‘Quantico’ star in July 2018.

For the occasion, Chopra wore a custom design by Ralph Lauren, who dressed Jonas too, according to People. All three of the groom’s brothers, Kevin, Joe and Frankie, served as groomsmen in the wedding.

The duo reportedly spent more than $800,000 on their wedding festivities, which spanned the whole week.
