PM Khan, Governor Ismail discuss political situation, ongoing development projects

KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the federal government is utilizing all its resources for the uplift of Sindh province including Karachi, ARY News reported on Sunday.

This he stated while meeting with the Governor Sindh Imran Ismail at the Governor House in Karachi today, after arriving in Karachi, on a day-long visit earlier today.

He was received at the airport by Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and other PTI leaders.

According to the Official Twitter handle of PTI, matters related to political situation and ongoing development projects were discussed during meeting of the pm and governor Sindh.

“Incumbent government is taking steps for the uplift of Sindh including Karachi,” PM maintained.

Ongoing  development schemes with support of federal government will be completed soon, Mr Khan vowed.

On the occasion, Governor Sindh, apprised the premier about Gulistan-e-Johar blast that occurred on Saturday night over MQM-P’s Mehfil-e-Milad, injuring at least eight.

“IG Sindh has been asked to submit report into the attack, criminals will not walk away at large,” governor Sindh said.

It may be recalled that Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived in Karachi earlier today on a day-long visit.

PM Imran is also scheduled to hold meetings with Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, PTI legislators, as well as delegations from the business community.

It is pertinent to mention here that PM Imran Khan, on September 16, had arrived in Karachi for the first time since he assumed office of the premier.

He touched down at Karachi airport where Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah greeted him.
