According to details, firing took place at 5.50 am when four terrorists entered Christian Colony area located at Peshawar’s Warsak Road due to which three people were injured.
Police and security forces arrived at the scene after which an exchange of fire took place, resulting in the death of two terrorists whereas twoattackers blew themselves up.
It should be noted that Christian Colony is located six to seven kilometers distance from Army Public School in Peshawar.
A search operation was launched whereas all entry and exit points of the area were sealed. A gunship helicopter also hovered over the area to assist the security forces.
Emergency was declared in local hospitals to meet any medical contingency.
The explosives, seized from the slain terrorists, were later defused by the forces.
Director General of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Asim Bajwa confirmed that four terrorists were killed by the security forces.

Colonel Naeemullah said that terrorists failed to target any civilians as the security forces managed to restrict the attackers in an under-construction building.
