Two terror suspects killed in police encounter in Karachi

Two terror suspects were killed in encounter with police on Friday morning. One of them was identified as Rehmatullah who was affiliated with TTP.

Another slain terrorist has been identified as Khalid alias Khaddai, police officials said. He was member of a Lyari gang and was involved in murders of 42 people, officials said.

Police had conducted an operation near Manghopir on a tip-off, and killed two outlaws in encounter. A policeman was also injured in the incident.

The slain terrorists were allegedly involved in targeted killings and attacks on police and other law enforcement personnel in the city.

Explosive material was also recovered from the slain terrorists.

22 suspects detained

Moreover, 22 suspects including foreign nationals were arrested in police search operation in from Orangi Town.

Most of the nabbed suspects are Afghan nationals, police officials said.
