The election commission during the hearing pleaded to the court for review of its order on the local government election.
The ECP plea said that the delimitation work has been started in phases and sought time to complete the process.
The bench approved the petition for hearing.
The court also granted one month to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for taking steps for the local government elections in the province.
Advocate General of the province had sought some time for taking steps before the local government elections.
