According to details, two activists of a political party said to be involved in the killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Fahad Zaki were arrested from Malir area.
MQM worker Fahad Zaki was shot dead by unknown killers in Khokhrapar area of Karachi on Thursday night.
Three street criminals were nabbed by the police from Bin Qasim area. The arrested persons included a son of a retired police officer and a woman.
On the other hand, a criminal was gunned down in an encounter with police at Sharah-e-Faisal while an accomplice managed to escape from the scene. Police recovered weapons from the slain criminal.
Police arrested two robbers, said to be involved in a bank robbery, which committed two days ago in Orangi Town.
