According to Rangers, the para-military force carried out a raid at Lyari’s Nawalane area in which one gangster was shot dead in the exchange of fire.
The gangster was identified as Mohammad Haroon and he was affiliated with Wasiullah Lakho group. He was wanted for murder of 22 people alongwith ransom and extortion offences.
Weapons were also recovered from him.
On the other hand, three persons were wounded while resisting a robbery attempt at Hazaro Goth area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
