The Indian premier has sent flowers to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, wishing him a speedy recovery following an open-heart surgery in a London hospital.
This has been revealed through a tweet by Mohammed Nafees Zakaria, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Pakistani and Indian prime ministers share a unique relationship, amid various old and prevailing issues between the two countries. However, Modi’s kind gesture before and after PM Nawaz surgery has certainly been welcomed by all.
The spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Vikas Swarup, had earlier confirmed that PM Nawaz had phoned Modi before his surgery and thanked him for wishing him good health.

At the start of the current week, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif – who was not well for quite some time – underwent a successful open-heart in London. PM Nawaz’s daughter, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, earlier disclosed the prime minister was making a fast recovery and that his doctors were also content with his post-surgery reports.
