KARACHI: Police surgeon Dr Qarar Abbasi has said the post-mortem report of nine-month-old Nishwa, who died today days after being administered wrong injection at Darul Sehat Hospital, will be released in couple of weeks, ARY News reported Monday.
Dr. Abbasi said his department had proposed conducting a post-mortem of the toddler. He added that the medical board was formed on recommendation of chief minister Sindh and provincial health secretary.
He informed that chemical analysis of all samples was conducted from Dow Medical University.

“If needed, a child specialist doctor will also be made part of the probe committee”, he added.
The police surgeon said he had sought all medical record of the deceased child from her parents. “The reports from Darul Sehat Hospital and Liaquat National Hospital have also been obtained,” he said.
He stated that hospital reports would be analyzed before a final report was released by the medical panel.
Earlier in the day, a resolution was presented in the Sindh Assembly on Monday, condemning death of nine-month-old Nishwa who died days after being administered a wrong injection by staff at the Dar-ul-Sehat Hospital.
After battling for her life for past eight days, Nishwa breathed her last on Monday morning at Liaquat National Hospital in Karachi.
The medical case of the minor girl came into light on April 14, when she was reportedly administered a wrong injection by the staff of Darul Sehat Hospital, which resulted the paralysis of Nishwa.
