LAHORE: At least two people were killed when a security guard sprayed them with bullets on Wednesday morning, ARY News reported.
Police said the incident occurred at Lahore’s Begum Kot area when a security guard opened fire at two people, leaving them critically injured.
Both injured later succumbed to their injuries on way to or at a hospital. Their bodies will be handed over to their relatives following autopsy and other legal formalities, said Lahore police.
Their identities couldn’t be ascertained till filing of this report.
Police said the security guard had been taken into custody and investigation was being carried out into the incident.
However, there was no immediate word on the motive behind the killings.
