Sources told that the government had been informed by the intelligence agencies that terrorists could attack public places. They said airports were under threats in all four provinces.
The government, in response, has put the security on high alert and deployed more security personnel to ensure strict security cover to the public.
Meanwhile, Lahore police also carried out a flag march around worship places in the city.
