Karachi Development Authority (KDA) on Friday razed down three unit offices located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Nazimabad. The operation took place near Eidgah Ground in Nazimabad where MQM unit number 113-C was demolished, while another in Firdous Colony unit number 183-C was also razed down.
Another unit office located near Maskan roundabout in Gulshan-e-Iqbal was also demolished. Heavy machinery was used in the operation in the presence of police and Rangers.
The authorities said that the unit offices were illegal and established on government property. They said that a list of other illegal unit offices was being prepared and action will be taken against them.
