John Kirby said that United States encourages the recent interactions between Pakistan and India despite the hostile ties between the two countries.
The State Department spokesman said that he contacted Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on the telephone and discussed different issues.
They agreed to remain focused on the ongoing war against terrorists not only in Pakistan but the entire region.
