Lahore sessions court on a petition of Minhaj ul Quran on Saturday ordered registration of the Model Town firing incident against 21 persons including Sharif brothers.
The counsels of Minhaj ul Quran when reached Faisal police station for registration of the case, SHO Sharif Sandhu was absent from the police station. The lawyers submitted the copy of the Sessions Judge’s order to the subordinate official.
Moreover, a petition has been filed in Lahore Sessions Court pleading for putting the names of Sharif brothers, Chaudhry Nisar Ali, Mariam Nawaz and others in the exit control list (ECL).
The petition said that the court has ordered registration of murder case against the prime minister and other important persons of the government, expressing fear that they could escape to overseas with sensitive national documents.
The plea requested to the court to issue orders for placing the names of all these persons in the ECL.
