ISLAMABAD: Minster for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi on Monday met Administrator US Maritime Administration Mark Buzby and discussed enhancement of bilateral cooperation in the maritime sector, ARY News reported.
Pakistani Ambassador to US Dr Asad M Khan was also present on this occasion.
Ali Zaidi, who is on a visit to Washington DC, has termed the discussion as productive.

In an interview with American Television ABC on Friday, the minister had said that economic development in Pakistan was in the best interest of the United States.
He had said it was not just to foster growth in both the countries but also to curb extremism.
Ali Zaidi had said it was a unique moment in time to capitalise on as Prime Minister Imran Khan was gaining trust globally as a credible leader.

He had said Pakistan was a country where 65 percent of the population was below the age of 30. “It is a land of opportunity.”
The maritime minister had said Pakistanis wanted long term peace and prosperity. He said economically, we must build this relationship based on economics. And that is going to be beneficial for both the countries, he had added.
“It’s extremely exciting time in Pakistan. Pakistan can be another land of opportunity. We will build economic bridges with the rest of the world. The world needs to view Pakistan as an Economic Zone… not a Security Zone,” he had said.
