Afridi captained the side in the five-match series after Misbah-ul-Haq got injured in the second ODI. His impressive performance has helped him move to 18th position in the bowling table jumping 19 places and to 44th position in the batting chart moving up 13 places. He has also jumped four places in the all-rounders’ category to secure fifth place.

Afridi has scored 7870 ODI runs at an average of 23.49 and a strike-rate of 116.29. He has also taken 391 wickets, the sixth-most in ODIs, at 33.89 and an economy-rate of 4.62. All-rounder Afridi had retired from Tests in 2010.
