ARY News Peshawar Bureau chief quoted the commander of banned Jundullah, Ahmed as saying that his organization waged today’s attack on Maulana Fazlur Rahman.
In a short statement, he said that his organization targeted the JUIF chief due to his pro-democracy approach.
Earlier, Maulana Fazlur Rahman had a narrow escape from a suicide blast, which took place immediately after his address with a public gathering at Mekangi Road, Quetta.
The blast however left two dead and 23 injured, out of which four were said to be in precarious condition at a hospital
