Dr. Asim Hussain’s counsel, in his arguments in the hearing, told the court that his client cannot be charged as the documentation in the case is not complete yet.
The ex-PPP senator, speaking to media informally, said that he cannot understand why Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Waseem Akhtar was arrested in his case.
“If they were to arrest Akhtar, it should have taken place long time ago,” he added.
He termed Murad Ali Shah’s appointment as Chief Minister of Sindh, a “pleasant change”.
