LAHORE: A local actress and her mother were robbed of their posessions in Lahore’s Johar Town area, ARY News reported.
According to details, actress Areeba Khan and her mother were robbed off their cellphones, money and jewellery in Lahore’s Johar Town.
Police registered the case against the unknown robbers and investigation of the incident is underway.
It should be noted that robbery cases are at a rise in the historical city over the past several weeks.
Earlier, videos went viral on social media websites which showed citizens being robbed by street criminals on traffic signals.
Areeba Khan is not the first actress to be targeted. Actress Kismat Baig was shot dead in Harbanspura area of Lahore as she was returning home after a busy workday.
