Pakistani actor Ahsan Khan has just been appointed as the Ambassador for Child Protection and Welfare Bureau by Punjab’s Government.

Chairperson Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, Sarah Ahmed took to Twitter to share the news.

The actor replied he is humbled, with a wish to “work on this together.”

Apart from all his fans, Danish from Meray Paas Tum Ho aka Humayun Saeed also congratulated the ‘Meray Dard Ki Tujhe Kya Khabar’ actor. “Congrats Ahsan Khan on being appointed as ambassador for Child Protection and Welfare Bureau. Wish you all the best,” he wrote.

Singer and actor, Ali Zafar was also present at the event alongside Ahsan Khan. He said children can do anything they dream of because nothing is impossible for them.

Ahsan is known for his advocacy on issues such as child labor and abuse. He is the Brand ambassador of the Human Development Foundation (HDF) and a Goodwill Ambassador of The Citizen Foundation (TCF).
