QUETTA: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq on Tuesday said that India is financing and promoting terrorism in Balochistan to create unrest in the province and to destabilize the country.
Addressing a ceremony in Quetta, Sirajul Haq declared the development of Baluchistan development and progress of Pakistan and added that the province is blessed with the wealth of minerals.
He criticized the rulers over unavailability of gas to the people of Balochistan and said that no government has addressed the grievances of the province.
The JI leader said that the rulers badly neglected and Kept Balochistan deprived of its rights due to their personal interests and added that even basic facilities are not provided to the local people in the province.
Sirjul Haq said that a major part of Baluchistan is draught-hit and if the government has not taken compensating measure immediately, the local people will be compelled to migrate.
He said that the country’s top watchdog National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has not taken any notice of large-scale corruption being carried out in Balochistan.
The JI leader said that the development projects of Balcohistan should be included in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He said that JI to support government, if it takes any concrete step towards Madina-like state.
