The female actor’s portrayal of a woman mentally tortured by a husband (played by Ali Agha) who is still involved with his girlfriend (played by Sidra Batool) and silenced by cultural norms which she knows will not accept him if she leaves her husband’s house.
In the drama serial, her husband forces her to remain silent as he treacherously plans to marry his girlfriend. Neelam convincingly brings the emotions and pain on her face.
Viewers and critics are all praise for Neelam for completely personifying the character and emoting skilfully in the play stealing the limelight from almost all the other actors in the play.
