He chose Australia’s aggressive opener Matthew Hayden and Indian Virender Sehwag to do the opening for his team.

Gillespie put another strong wall of batting defence with one of the best captain of cricket history Australian Ricky Ponting and West Indian great batsman Brian Lara at the top order after openers to carry on the lead.

For the middle order, the Aussie bowler picked Indian Little Master Sachin Tendulkar and one of the greatest all-rounder of the game South Africa’s Jacques Kallis.

For the job behind the wickets, an almost impeccable wicket keeper Adam Gilchrist was sought as a right choice. He is not just a finest wicket-keeper but he is also regarded as an aggressive batsman.

Jason Gillespie picked destructible line of bowling defence with Australian Shane Warne, Pakistani Wasim Akram, West Indian Curtly Ambrose and Australian Glenn McGrath.

He said Wasim had a sharp run-up and was skilled to swing balls both ways.

Wasim is the finest exponent of reverse swing bowling.

Not just Jason Gillespie, many other famous international cricketers have included one of the greatest bowlers of cricket history in their lists including Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Angelo Mathews and our own Mushtaq Ahmed.
