Indian actress Bhumika Chawla, who made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan in Tere Naam (2003), had disappeared after a brief stint. And since that point on, she couldn’t make it big with any of the movies.
She then made a comeback and was seen in M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. The actressplayeda prominent role in Neeraj Pandey’s biopic on the Indian cricketer.
Before stepping into Bollywood, Bhumika Chawla made her acting debut in Telugu with Sumanth’s Yuvakudu in the year 2000. Since her debut, the actress has acted with most of the top stars in Telugu and Tamil barring super stars like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
Tere Naam that released in 2003 was the highest grosser of the year, handed her many awards for best debut performance. Bhumika is making it big in Tollywood these days after getting married to Yoga guru Bharat Thakur.
In a recent interview, the actress said she honestly believed that she wouldnt be able to do lead roles and will keep getting supporting roles like in MS Dhoni: Untold Story. ” Personally, I know I won’t keep doing sister-in-law, mother-in-law roles until I die! I will be doing different things and be doing so in my own pace. I will be working till I’m 70. However, I am not dying for work. I just work because I like to,” added Bhumika.
