Like Salman Khan, the marital status of intriguing and yet vibrant bachelorette Tabu interests people more than her work, and she isn’t too happy about it.
In an interview with Navbharat Times, Tabu was exasperated answering one question quite repeatedly throughout the day.
The actress revealed that everybody had been asking her about her plans of getting married.
“Everyone is worried about Salman Khan’s and my marriage. Everybody asks me this. I am fed up of being asked the same questions repeatedly. Ask me something different and fresh.”
The actress was so frustrated that she even asked others to go ahead and do the same. She was quoted as saying, “Won’t you ask me about my marriage?”
Tabu has also quipped that not getting married is the secret of her beauty. Appearing on a popular comedy show, judge Akshay Kumar asked her:
“I’ve known you since a long time now. Can you tell us how you manage to remain this gorgeous and flawless even now? What is your secret?”
Tabu replied: “That’s because I didn’t get married.”
Earlier, the Tabu had joked that her Golmaal Again co-star Ajay Devgn is to be blamed for her singlehood since he isn’t doing a great job of finding her a suitable match.
“I had told Ajay the other day to please find me a boy to marry,” Tabu told Times of India.
Tabu and Ajay Devgan have shared the screen in movies such as Drishyam (2015), Thakshak (1999), and share quite a close bond in real life with their friendship dating back to 25 years or more.
The two have time again spoken about how they were close friends while growing up . Ajay was friends with Sameer Arya, Tabu’s cousin, which eventually turned into a friendship of their own.
Tabu admitted that both Ajay and her cousin Sameer would spy on her and threaten to beat up any boys who were caught talking to her.
“They were the big bullies and if I am single today, it is because of Ajay. I hope he repents and regrets what he did,” Tabu added and because of this that she has bestowed Ajay with the responsibility of finding her a groom.
The duo will be seen next in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again. While Ajay is a regular with the Golmaal series, this will be Tabu’s first movie in the franchise. Both will also be seen together in a yet-untitled flick.
