KARACHI: The report of the inquiry committee in alleged rape and murder of a woman at the Sindh Government Hospital, Korangi, on Monday recommended to immediately sacking the arrested staff, ARY News reported.
The three-member inquiry committee headed by District Health Office (DHO) Central has submitted its report to the director health.
The report has suggested to immediately suspending Dr Ayaz and staff.
The probe report said the girl left her house at 9:00am and arrived at the hospital at 12:30pm.
“Purpose of conducting DNA test was to confirm rape,” it said.
It said that the hospital had unsuitable and flawed arrangements for medical treatment.
The committee report said the young woman was administered injection for tooth in another department of the hospital.
“She was administered another injection after administering one medication. She was shifted to cardio ward after her condition deteriorated,” it said.

The death of a woman at the government hospital in Karachi’s Korangi area had taken a new turn on April 20 when the police said she was murdered after being subjected to sexual abuse.
Citing the victim woman’s autopsy report, the Korangi police had confirmed she was administered a poisonous injection after being subjected to sexual assault at the hospital located in Korangi No.5.
