A day before the Supreme Court had dismissed the petition of the PM’s son in which he had expressed reservations on two of the JIT members and sought to replace them to ensure propriety in the investigation process.

The bench during the court proceedings, ruled that no JIT member could be excluded or replaced on basis of mere suspicion while directing the investigation team to complete the probe within the prescribed time frame in line with the Panamagate case verdict.

The JIT had earlier found the replies of Hussain Nawaz unsatisfactory and asked him to come up with more comprehensive repliesSources said dazed Hussain kept on changing his stance when questions regarding the ownership of the London flats and money trail behind them were raised by the JIT.

Thus, the JIT gave him a questionnaire about the properties in question and asked him to turn up along with comprehensive replies on May 30.
