The Parliamentary Committee on Electoral Reforms has unanimously elected Ishaq Dar as its Chairman.
Later, speaking to media, Ishaq Dar said the committee will carry on assigned task beyond any political affiliations.
He said that all the political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf has expressed confidence over the Electoral Reforms Committee. The next meeting of the committee will be held on Monday when it will frame its rules and regulations.
Earlier, addressing a press conference, Ishaq Dar said that Prime Minister Nawaz Shairf will not resign over at the behest of anyone. He said conducting protest is everyone’s right nut no one is allowed to violate law in the guise of protest.
