Zuzana Lhotova fasts everyday from dawn to dusk like her Muslim counterparts. She is a Czech student at a university in Indonesia.

“It’s definitely harder to fast, because I don’t have the spiritual thing behind it.” She said it’s important to experience Ramazan as my friends do.
Lhotova added: “It’s not as difficult as I had expected. But what is difficult is not drinking water”.
The lady made no secret of her observations during the fast. She described that she learnt self-control and discipline from fasting.
