A spokesman of Frontier Corps in a statement has said that the paramilitary force on an intelligence report launched search operation in Morgan Harboi area of district Qalat killing nine miscreants in an exchange of fire and injured two others.
Two FC personnel were also injured in the shootout, spokesman said.
FC spokesman claimed that the militants were planning an attack on a PPL project and a FC checkpost.
The FC personnel also captured weapons from the militants, he added.
