Pakistan’s blind cricket team on Tuesday beat India by seven wickets during the World T20 Championship 2017 at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi.
India won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 204 runs at the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Indian opener J. Prakash scored 90 runs off just 56 deliveries, and made an opening partnership of 140 runs with Venkateswara Rao.
However, Pakistan bowlers made a comeback and restricted the Indian team to 204 for the loss of 5 wickets. Bowler Muhammad Akram took one wicket.
The Pakistani team chased down the target in just 15.3 overs.
Opener Nisar Ali scored 45 runs on 30 balls. Muhammad Zafar scored 88 runs off 52 deliveries that sealed the game for Pakistan.
Deepak Malik and Retan Patel took one wicket apiece.
This is Pakistan’s third straight victory in the tournament after it defeated New Zealand and England.
