ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said Pakistan enjoys brotherly relations with Saudi Arabia and Iran.

In a series of tweets, she said Pakistan desires promotion of friendly and harmonious relations among the Muslim countries and the Ummah cannot afford any internal confrontation.

Calling Pakistan, KSA and Iran, three important brothers of the Muslim Ummah, the SAPM said Islamabad enjoys historical and brotherly relations with Riyadh and Tehran.

Dr. Awan said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has welcomed Pakistan’s sincere efforts for regional peace which reflects the cordiality in bilateral relationship and the level of trust that exists between the leadership of both the countries.
