RIYADH: Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia Raja Ali Ejaz has expressed gratitude to Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman for reducing visit visa fee for Pakistani nationals and releasing Pakistani prisoners on a request by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Speaking at an event held in his honour, he said the Saudi crown prince’s visit of Pakistan further strengthened bilateral ties between Islamabad and Riyadh.
The envoy said Pakistan has diplomatically stabilised during the current situation facing the country.
Talking about Indo-Pak tensions, he said the Oragnisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) resolution declaring India held Kashmir a disputed territory and condemning Indian armed forces’ presence there bore out the success of Pakistan’s foreign policy.
Towards end, he lauded overseas Pakistanis contribution toward the development of the country.

In a statement on March 7, PM Imran Khan lauded Saudi Arabia for releasing Pakistani prisoners and for increasing Hajj quota.
The statement came in the wake of Saudi State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir ‘s one-day visit of Pakistan this week.
The premier said that Adel al-Jubeir’s current visit was a continuation of Saudi crown prince’s visit to Pakistan.
Sources said that Adel al-Jubeir conveyed a special message of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to the prime minister. The sources said that matters of mutual interests, bilateral relations and Pakistan-India tension were also came under discussion.-
