The accountability court's judge Azam Khan heard the LNG reference against former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, ex-finance minister Miftah Ismail and others.

While talking to journalists outside the court building, Abbasi criticised that no progress was made in the case for 2.5 years.

The accountability court also granted a plea of Abbasi seeking exemption from appearing in the court hearing.

Judge Azam Khan of the accountability court will hear the corruption reference against Shahid Khaqan Abbasi at 12:00 noon today.

The reference has been filed against 10 accused including former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former finance minister Miftah Ismail and others.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials had produced Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former finance minister Miftah Ismail and former managing director of Pakistan State Oil (PSO) Shaikh Imranul Haq,  in accountability court on Thursday in LNG reference hearing.
