Zardari begins Senate horse-trading ahead of elections: Saad Rafique

KARACHI: Deploring change of Balochistan Chief Minister, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Friday said the recent meeting between incumbent provincial CM Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari is an indication of beginning political horse-trading ahead of Senate elections.

Taking to twitter, Rafique said Zardari has been demonstrating his anti-democratic mindset for initiating such sordid electoral pacts to garner support and seats in the upcoming Senate elections.

آصف زرداری کی بلوچستان کے کٹھ پُتلی وزیر اعلٰی سے ملاقات سینٹ الیکشن میں شرمناک ھارس ٹریڈنگ کا آغاز ھے ۔ بلوچستان میں تبدیلی درحقیقت جمہوریت کے غلاف میں لپٹی خرید وفروخت ھے – زرداری نے بلوچستان سے سینٹ نشستیں لینے کے لئے جمہوریت کُش سوچ کا ساتھ دیا-

Calling the incumbent CM as puppet, the federal minister said the recent change in Balochistan assembly is mere business under the guise of democracy.

He went on saying that Zardari has turned Bhutto’s political party into a hub of dealers indulged in making offers to legislators to change their loyalties ahead of the elections.

آصف زرادی نے بھٹوز کی پیپلز پارٹی کو بھاؤ تاؤ کا بازار بناۓ رکھا ھے – زرداری صاحب اپنی ھمشیرہ کو چئیرمین سینٹ بنوا کر نظام پر مسلط رھنا چاھتے ھیں – سینٹ کنٹرول کرنے کے لئے زرداری ھر جماعت کے ممبران کو خریدنے کی سازش کر رھے ھیں –

“Zardari is making attempts to approach senators from various parties to have his control over the upper house of parliament,” Rafique said.

He vowed to foil every conspiracy against the democratic structure of government while cautioning Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and other political parties against such moves, as what he said, the members from all parties were on Zardari’s target list.

مسلم لیگ ن اور دیگر جمہوری قوتیں ھارس تریڈنگ کا راستہ روکیں گی- Pti خبردار رھے ان کے ممبران بھی زرداری کی سودے بازی کے نشانہ پر ھیں – زرداری کی کرپٹ سوچ نے میثاق ِ جمہوریت کی دھجیاں اڑائیں –

Referring to the PPP-PML-N agreement of 2006 between Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto, Rafique said Zardari’s corrupt mindset has blown the Charter of Democracy to smithereens.

آصف زرداری کو جمہوریت کے لبادے میں اراکین کی خرید و فروخت کا گھناؤنا کھیل نہیں کھیلنے دیں گے – گالیاں دو الزام لگاؤ یا سازش کرو تمھیں شرمناک جمہوریت کا دور واپس نہیں لانے دیں گے-

He alleged that Zardari has also been making efforts to make his sister the Senate chairman to maintain his hold on the legislation and the Senate affairs.

بلوچستان کی صوباٸ اسمبلی میں ppp کی کوٸ نشست نہیں – قیوم سومرو کٹھ پُتلی حکومت بنانے کے گھناؤنے کھیل کا حصہ بنے رھے – پچھلے سینٹ الیکشن میں بھی زرداری صاحب نے خرید و فروخت کی کوشش کی مگر زیادہ کامیابی نہیں ملی –

آصف زرادی بلوچستان سے سینٹ کی چند نشستیں خریدنے کے لئے جائنٹ وینچر پارٹنر بنے – بلاول اور ان کے ساتھی نہ ھوتے تو زرداری صاحب رھی سہی پیپلز پارٹی کا سودا بھی کر لیتے –

The federal minister further said Zardari had tried similar tactics in the last Senate elections but he couldn’t succeed. “Had Bilawal not been in the party, Zardari would have sold the entire PPP,” he tweeted.
