ISLAMABAD: A chaotic situation erupted outside the Supreme Court building when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Naeemul Haq barred Pakistan Awami Tehreek representative Khurram Nawaz Gandapur from speaking to media, ARY News reported.
Gandapur was approaching the podium occupied by Haq, but the latter reportedly pushed and shoved the PAT leader, leading to arguments and bickering between them.
Senior politician Sheikh Rashid Ahmed immediately stepped in and calmed the situation down. However, visibly incensed PAT leader continued to bash Naeemul Haq and his lawyers.
He slammed the behavior of PTI leader, saying “this is how they conduct their selves now, what (worst) will happen when they assume power.”
“This is unacceptable and irresponsible of the PTI leader.”

Later speaking to ARY News, Gandapur slammed Haq for misbehaving with him. “First Naeem said ‘Mr. King’ is coming here, please provide him a space. And then he manhandled me,” said the PAT leader.
Gandapur said mutual respect was vital among political partners. He said Naeemul Haq first shoved him and used language that cannot be spoken on-air.
“I asked him to apologize or this matter will drag further,” he told.
He also criticized Pervez Khattak for his statement that PAT was not a party of Tahirul Qadri who could stay silent on killing of fpurteen people in Model Town.
He asked Khattak what Punjab police did to him during protest should have warranted strong response from chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Why did he speed away from the protest spot, he asked.
