RAWALPINDI: Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces Major General Pengiran Dato Paduka Seri Aminan bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarter (GHQ).
The military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), reported on Tuesday regarding the meeting between two dignitaries.
During the meeting, matters of bilateral interest including security situation in the region came under discussion, the ISPR added.
Recognizing sacrifices of armed forces in war against terror, the visiting official lauded Pakistan’s role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Earlier today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa had met Chief of Army Staff General Bajwa at the GHQ.
Bahrain’s foreign minister also pledged to keep working for better relations between the two brotherly countries. He also appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for de-escalating tensions in the region
