RAWALPINDI: Turkish Air Force Commander General Hasan Kucukakayuz here on Wednesday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the military’s media wing, matters of mutual interests, regional security, bilateral relations and matters of profession interests were came under discussion in the meeting.
Both the leaders expressed satisfaction over the cooperation and friendship between Pakistan and Turkey, said the statement.

Earlier today, President Dr. Arif Alvi conferred Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) upon Commander Turkish Air Force General Hasan Kucukakayuz.
As per details, the commander of Turkish Airforce called on President Alvi today. During the meeting, the president said “Pakistan and Turkey enjoy an unparalleled fraternal relationship embedded in a shared cultural and religious heritage.”
He also appreciated Turkish support during recent tensions with India.
Dr. Alvi told the visiting dignitary that there is a vast potential for investment in Pakistan especially in energy, infrastructure and food processing sector.
