ISLAMABAD: Barrister Gohar Ali has denied the reports about jailed PTI Founder’s rebuke to the party’s leadership, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
“The PTI has been united and there is no forward block in its ranks,” Chairman PTI talking to media here said.
He said the NA Speaker had asked the names from the party for the Special Parliamentary Committee, constituted to appoint the next Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP). “We have given names to avoid being expelled out of the process,” PTI leader said.
“In the night, the political committee decided not to join the committee,” he said. “We have same instructions as given by the party’s Founder,” he further said.
“We are eligible for three members’ representation in the committee in view of the Supreme Court’s order with regard to the special seats,” Barrister Gohar said.
“We don’t differentiate among judges, the senior most judge should be made the chief justice,” PTI leader said.
